Theater.Academy supports and promotes diversity, equity and inclusion in Theater. For too long, U.S. BIPOC artists have been unfairly represented and discriminated against. Their stories, if told at all, were often performed in a stereotypical and diminishing manner, creating an even greater need for their true voices to be heard.
In this digital anthology we feature thirty something leading U.S. BIPOC practitioners from all theater disciplines. These creative and diverse individuals share their personal story and their unique theater creation practice, in interviews that include rare footage and images from their theater shows.
