Why Theater.Academy
Theater education has traditionally been shaped by geography, institutional access, and financial privilege.
Theater.Academy was created to expand access to rigorous, high-quality learning experiences beyond those boundaries.
Through collaborations with scholars, artists, and practitioners across disciplines and traditions, the platform brings together multiple approaches to performance.
Rather than following a single methodology or academic narrative, Theater.Academy is designed as a space for a multitude of voices, approaches, and ways of engaging with performance.
Founded by educator and cultural producer Yagil Eliraz, former Assistant Professor at Amherst College and graduate of Yale School of Drama.
