Practice Demonstrations

Noh

Some of Noh’s most important performative ingredients - masks, fans, chant, drumming and dance – are demonstrated here by Noh professionals. By listening to the chant, seeing the simple but precise movements, and experiencing how they are woven together with the sharp drumbeats, you can viscerally experience Noh as a codified improvisation of shared breath.
